Working With Me

Working with stress requires more than insight or willpower. It involves calming the nervous system, increasing awareness of thought and emotional patterns, and practicing new responses over time. I work with people experiencing ongoing stress who want a steady, supportive approach to greater clarity, regulation, and confidence in daily life.

This work is well suited for people who are capable, responsible, and experiencing ongoing stress. Some are students, some are professionals, and some are in later stages of life. What they share is not age or role, but a nervous system that has been carrying too much for too long.

You may recognize yourself if:

  • Your mind feels busy or overactive, even when things are “fine”

  • Your body has difficulty fully relaxing

  • You overthink decisions or replay conversations

  • You hold yourself to high standards and feel pressure to keep it together

  • You want practical tools that create steadiness, not motivation or hype

The 12-Session Coaching Container

I work in a 12-session coaching container because meaningful change takes time. Stress patterns are built over years, and lasting steadiness develops through practice, not quick fixes.

Sessions are intentionally spaced over six to nine months. Early sessions may be closer together to establish regulation and clarity. Later sessions allow for integration, reflection, and application so the work becomes part of daily life, not something that only happens in conversation.

This structure supports real nervous system change, stronger self-awareness, and the ability to respond to stress with choice rather than urgency.

What We Work On

In our work together, we focus on how stress shows up in the body, the mind, and daily decision-making. Rather than trying to eliminate stress, we work on increasing regulation, awareness, and choice so stress no longer drives your responses.

Areas we commonly address include:

  • Calming the nervous system so thinking feels clearer and less reactive

  • Increasing awareness of thought patterns and emotional responses

  • Shifting self-talk and perspective when pressure rises

  • Making decisions from values rather than urgency or fear

  • Building confidence that feels steady and grounded over time

The work is practical and applied. What we discuss in session is meant to be used in real situations, not just understood conceptually.

What this Is and What this Is Not

This work is a structured coaching process designed to help people navigate stress, overwhelm, and periods of transition with greater regulation, clarity, and intentional response. It is collaborative and skill-based, focused on helping you create meaningful change rather than simply cope.

This work can be supportive during seasons of heightened stress or difficulty, particularly when you are ready to engage actively and take responsibility for your growth. It is well suited for people who feel close to a breaking point but want a steady, guided process to move forward.

It is not therapy, medical treatment, or crisis intervention. It is not designed for unmanaged psychiatric crises or situations requiring immediate clinical care. This work assumes a basic level of safety and stability, along with a willingness to participate in an ongoing, reflective process.

If you are seeking a quick fix or someone to carry the work for you, this approach may not be the right fit. If you are ready to engage thoughtfully and create change over time, it often is.

The Invitation

If this approach feels aligned, the next step is a conversation. This is a chance to talk about what you are experiencing, what you want to change, and whether this coaching process is the right fit.

These conversations are thoughtful and unhurried. We’ll look at your current level of stress, your readiness for change, and what kind of support would be most helpful moving forward.

If it feels like a good fit for both of us, we’ll discuss how to begin the 12-session coaching container. If not, you’ll leave with greater clarity about your next steps.
